G5-01VC welding filter features our first ever Variable Color Technology which allows welders to select between 3 different color options (clear, cool, or warm). These variable colors may allow welders to improve their ability to see the weld puddle, joint, and arc better than our previous filters.

The 3M Speedglas Heavy-Duty Welding Helmet G5-01VC was created to be adaptable to an individual’s needs and situation. The comfort of the helmet can be individualized with different accessory configurations and the new helmet controls allow adjustment of the respiratory airflow to fit individual preferences.
- The G5-01 welding filter features 3M Natural Color technology which makes the filter view seem lighter, more detailed and colorful. Auto-ON/OFF
- Speedglas welding filter G5-01 offers variable dark shades 5, 8-14 and tack welding comfort mode. May be utilized for most types of arc welding.
- The big (104 x 170 mm), clear protective visor is curved, with excellent views up, down, and peripherally.

Control your comfort with adjustable airflow
Direct the airflow to either your face 1, your visor 2, or some combination of both. Adjust the amount of air coming from the top outlet 3 vs. the two side outlets 4, or choose a blend of both.
